Darlene Twachtmann, 80, passed away February 22, 2016. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, Iowa, followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Lynn) Eiben and Linda (Andy) Long; grandchildren, Melody, Becky, Austin, Aaron, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Misty; sister, Geri Hidde; brother, Larry (Ellen) Pieri; sister-in-law, Nancy Pieri; brother-in-law, Larry Chalsma; and many nieces and nephews.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Jackson; two brothers, LeRoy Pieri and Myron Pieri; and a sister, Sharon Chalsma.
Darlene was born August 24, 1935 in Elk River, Minnesota, the daughter of Fred and Clara (Kliever) Pieri. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Darlene’s memory.
