Darlene Hilda Davis, 78, of Central City, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Central City. Graveside Service: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City.
Survivors include her children, Pam (Dave) Clary, Carl (Marilyn) Davis, Linn Yeater, Tracy (Frank) Belisle, Fred (Ann) Davis and Brenda (Bruce) Irelan; daughter-in-law, Martha Yeater; a sister, Mae Christian; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto & Hilda; husband, Carl Davis; son, Tim Yeater; daughter, Cheryl Yeater; four brothers; a sister; and a great-grandson, Brandon Yeater.
Darlene was born June 21, 1935, the daughter of Otto and Hilda (Martin) Schroeder in Wilton, Iowa. She graduated from Wilton High School. Darlene married Frederick Carl Davis. He died in 1973. Darlene enjoyed going for walks, bike riding, and spending time with family.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Darlene.
