Darlene G. Bentley, 66, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her home. Visitation: 12 – 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service will follow immediately at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed under "photos and videos" starting at 2 p.m.
Darlene was born June 9, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Claude and Shirley (Benesh) Bentley. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1976. Darlene will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her siblings, Deborah Engel, Cindy Clemons, Mark Bentley, and Renita Van Dee, as well as her nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Doug Bentley; and very special friends, Cynthia Sallis.
