Daniel J. Frasher

Daniel J. Frasher, 47, of Atkins, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, following a short illness. Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Daniel of Atkins; his mother, Bonnie Frasher of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Robert Frasher, Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Rick Frasher of Manchester; and a sister, Kathi (Bruce) Miller of Jacksonville, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, Sr.; and his wife, Lorraine.
Daniel was born March 17, 1960, the son of Robert and LaVonne (McKenna) Frasher, Sr., in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married Lorraine Kellner on May 11, 1990 in Cedar Rapids. She died June 6, 1995. Daniel was a cab driver for Yellow Cab.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Daniel.
