Dale E. Wright, 73, formerly of Manchester, Iowa, died Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. No services will be held. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Manchester. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester is assisting the family.
Dale was born on February 26, 1947, in Manchester, the son of Peter and Hazel (Davis) Wright. He worked for area farmers as a part-time farmhand. Dale enjoyed farming and caring for the animals. He was easygoing and loved to play his guitar.
Survivors include his siblings, Kenneth Wright, Russell (Onalee) Wright, Sr., all of Spencer, Iowa, Willis (Kathy) Wright of Central City, Iowa, and Becky (Brad) Syndergaard of Underwood, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Hazel Wright; and brother, Darrell Wright.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Penn Center in Delhi, and the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Dale.
