Daisy Helen Hay, 74, of Manchester, died Monday morning, November 1, 2004 at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester following a short illness.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Manchester where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery in Manchester. The Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
Daisy was born the daughter of Elmo and Marie Rose on November 18, 1929 in Des Moines.
Daisy was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Manchester. She worked at the ARC Vocational Center. Daisy enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, visiting with friends, eating out and country music. Daisy liked to spend time with her pet bird, "Pete.?
Daisy is survived by three sisters, Rosemary Williams of Waterloo, Rose Jones of Kentucky and Pansy Flowers of California; and one brother, Elmo Rose, Jr. of Des Moines; her caretaker, Shelly Chapman of Manchester; and a special friend, Dave Heeter of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo & Marie Rose; three brothers and five sisters.
