Cynthia Sue Norden

Cynthia Sue Norden, 50, of 1500 Oakland Road NE, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, February 7, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Thelma Hembroff.
Survivors include her mother, Vivian Norden of Cedar Rapids; four siblings, Linda Hertzler, Alan Norden and wife Jeanne, Marcia Johnson and Barbara Selland; and several nephews and many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred, and a sister, Debra Mahoney.
Cynthia was born the daughter of Alfred and Vivian Brown Norden on October 6, 1954, in Decorah, Iowa. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in 1972 and worked at Quaker Oats for many years. She was a friend of Bill W.
Cynthia will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her two cats, Buddy and Venus.
A memorial fund has been established.
