Coralie "Corky" Little (Hansen)
November 4, 1938 — August 23, 2006
Coralie "Corky? Little, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died peacefully in her home with her family after a courageous battle with cancer on August 23, 2006. Services: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Teri Meis and husband Jim, Pam Ehlen and husband Tom, and Sue Staton and husband Dan all of Cedar Rapids; one son, Matt Lewis and his fianc?, Shannon of Palo; nine grandchildren, Tony Meis, Sam and Emily Ehlen, Megan and Jared Staton, Mike, Joe, Zach and Angie Lewis; and three step grandchildren, Laura, Ryin and Aly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jerry.
Corky was born November 4, 1938, in Carthage, South Dakota, the daughter of Orville and Shirley (Buck) Hansen. She spent her early years in Palo as a homemaker raising her children. She later moved to Cedar Rapids where she worked at the Post Office until her retirement in 2001.
Corky loved her cats and her old house. She had a large and diverse group of friends and always helped those in need. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her good friend, Tim.
