Connie Rae Geuther

Connie Geuther, 62, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held, Monday, December 23, 2024, from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Manchester. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville, Iowa.
Connie was born November 27, 1962, in Wagner, South Dakota, the daughter of Basil and Geraldine (Johnson) Heth. Connie married Cecil Geuther and was blessed with 43 years of marriage. She worked at Diecast factory in Dyersville for many years and then worked at Walmart in the Bakery Department until just recently. She always greeted everyone with a friendly hello and a smile on her face. Connie enjoyed making the holiday meals, especially cheesy potatoes and potato salad, spending time with her family and attending the grandkids’ school events. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Connie is survived by her children, Allen (Jen) Geuther, Gerald Sr. (Jessica) Geuther, Matthew (Angie) Geuther, Nicholas (Krista) Geuther; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Heth; sisters, Twila Adair, Ileen (Jim) Penney; in-laws, Shirley Dettman, Rodney Geuther, and Allen Geuther; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Geraldine Heth; husband, Cecil Geuther; siblings, Wilbur, Leonard, Basil Jr., Gilbert, Jerilyn, Sandra; stepdaughter, Michelle Marie; father and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Mildred Geuther; sister-in-law; Martha Geuther.
The family of Connie Geuther would like to thank Care Initiatives Hospice for the care that was given to Connie and her family.
