Clarice Marie Zacek Petrusek

Clarice M. Zacek Petrusek, 65, of Marion, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2007. Services: 1:00 p.m., Monday April 2, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev Gary Cox. The family will greet friends from 11 to 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony, Sr.; children, Dennis Voshell, Denise (Bob) Morey and David Voshell I; foster children, Paul Rangel, Phillip (Marie) Rangel and Larella Rangel; and step-children, Steven (Deb) Petrusek, Anthony Petrusek, Jr. and Katherine Petrusek. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Shelby Baker, Grant Voshell, Hannah Morey, Elizabeth Morey, David Voshell II, Stephanie Rangel, Dylan Rangel, Amber Rangel, Ella Rangel, twins expected soon, Cody James, Allison James and Brady James; step grandchildren, Joseph Petrusek, John Petrusek and Chrissy Petrusek; step great grandchildren, Preston Petrusek and Emily Petrusek; brothers, Gene (Bev) Zacek and Anton (Karen) Zacek; sister, Alice (Don) Heggedahl; sister-in-law, Mary Zacek Bartels; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and a brother, Eldon Zacek, Sr.
Clarice was born September 12, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of John and Lorraine (Wickham) Zacek. On September 6, 2003, she married Anthony Petrusek in Cedar Rapids. She was a retired postal worker who enjoyed traveling and gardening. She loved Diet Pepsi, was an avid Packer fan and loved watching her grandchildren?s events. She had a great sense of humor, was very witty, generous, open hearted and helped needy families at Christmas time.
