Clarence O. "Frisco? Francisco, 94, of 405 N. 15th Avenue, Hiawatha, died September 7, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center, of a extended illness. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends from noon until service time on Monday. Private Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; and one sister, Merva June Diem of Buffalo, N.Y.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five sisters, Vada McDonald, Mabel Wallick, Vera Francisco, Bernice Francisco, Neva Carr.

Clarence was born October 28, 1910, in Sharon, Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Amelia (Haase) Francisco. On February 2, 1947, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Ellen Sanders in Cedar Rapids. He resided in Cedar Rapids since 1947 and was a mail carrier until 1952. He owned and operated Francisco Farm Fresh Eggs from 1952-1972.

He served in the US Army during WWII.
