Clara N. Bunker, 94, of Marion, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion. There will be a celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Cedar Valley Bible Church by Revs. Tom Fogle and Sean Lillis. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Chuck) Lillis of Marion; a sister, Antonia Smith of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Sean (Sarah) Lillis and Brooke (Matthew) Schefers; and eight great-grandchildren, Caleb, Dalaney, Cael, Deacon, Beckham, Jorja, McLean, and Haddon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth G. Bunker; and three sisters, Victoria Burhman, Marie Usher, and Henrietta Cubbage.

Clara was born March 18, 1918, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Alberts) Cop in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1936. Clara married Kenneth G. Bunker on April 2, 1949. He died January 18, 1988.

A memorial fund has been established in memory of Clara.
