Christine Cae Kremer, 42 of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, in her home. She has courageously battled a rare cancer for the last five years. Memorial Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, conducted by Rev. Randy Richter. The family will greet friends from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday. Burial will be at a later date at the Palo Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff; two children, Kaylee and Luke both at home; her parents, Bill and Kathy Zeller of Palo; a brother, Doug Zeller and his wife Natalie of Greenville, Texas; two nieces Grace and Katey; and her very special four legged canine friend, Maggie.
Christy was born September 7, 1964 in Vinton, the daughter of Bill and Kathy (Bickal) Zeller. She grew up in Palo and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1982. Christy was united in marriage on June 15, 1985 to Jeffrey Kremer at the Palo United Methodist Church.
Christy loved her family and rarely missed a school activity or sporting event for her children. She enjoyed family vacations, boating, yoga, jogging, interior decorating, and her hosta gardens.
She was a kitchen designer for the past 22 years, finishing her career at Green Valley Cabinet Company. Christy enjoyed her profession and spending time with her clients.
Christy was loved and will be forever missed by all.
Memorials may be directed to the Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Organization, Hospice of Mercy, or to the Kremer Family in honor of Christy’s children.
