Chong P Gott, 67, of 3640 Johnson Avenue NW, Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, December 15, 2007, in her home, following a long illness. Services: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie; her sons, Kraig Williamson and Charlie Williamson, both of California; her stepchildren, Cathy Gott and Jack Gott, Jr., both of Cedar Rapids.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Corey Gott, Alicia Gott, Greg Gott, Jennifer McDowell and Carrie Strickel; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother; her sister; a stepdaughter, Janet Gott; and a grandchild, Tiffiany Gott.

Chong was born January 20, 1940, the parents of Tuhn and Wounecho Lee in Seoul, Korea. On January 3, 1992, she married Jackie Gott. For 10 years, Chong was a chef for the United States Navy at Camp Pendleton, California. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Chong was very active in the Korean Baptist Church.
