Cheryl "Sherry? Power, 58, of 217 Market Street, Coggon, died Friday, June 13, 2003, in her home after a sudden illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at United Parish Church in Coggon, by the Rev. Ron Lewis. Burial: Coggon Cemetery. Friends may call at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday (June 16) and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Survivors include her husband, Derral; a daughter, Gina Power of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Betty O?Hara of Coggon; five brothers, Gary O?Hara of Cedar Rapids, Denny O?Hara of Gilbert, Iowa, Kevin O?Hara of Masonville, Iowa, and Doug O?Hara and Chris O?Hara, both of Coggon; and a sister, Jolene Klein of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Sherry was born the daughter of Jim and Betty Barker O?Hara on July 14, 1944, in Walker, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Derral Power on September 14, 1974, in Coggon. Sherry was employed by Rockwell-Collins as an order administrator until 1994. She was a member of United Parish Church.
Sherry will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
