Cheryl Rae Britcher, 44, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, October 12, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center, following an extended illness. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids by Rev. Linda Stransky. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment: Rose Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsville at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; her son, Zachary; her father, Gary Britcher of Arizona; a sister, Lorna (Larry) Marsden of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Scott Britcher of Mechanicsville, Kirk Britcher of Stanwood, Kory Britcher of Lisbon and Brent (Julie) Britcher of Cedar Rapids; her mother-in-law, Gwen Bulger of Mechanicsville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Jean Britcher, who died on May 6, 2001.
Cheryl was born June 23, 1959, the daughter of Gary and Dolores Jean (Ehrsman) Britcher in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1977 and from Hamilton Business College. On March 3, 2003, she married Thomas G. Bulger in Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Cheryl?s memory.
