Charles Lewis, 57, of 933 Grubbs Street, Center Point, died in his home of cancer on October 2, 2005. There will be no services, but friends are invited to visit the family in their home at 933 Grubbs Street after 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2005. Inurnment at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; his mother, Florence Burke; two step-sons, Steven (Barbara) Fraley of Cowpens, South Carolina and Daniel (Theresa) Fraley of Woodruff, South Carolina; three daughters, Jennifer (Art) Aghisian of Anaheim, California, Amy (Terry) List of Moreno Valley, California and Catlene Lewis of Center Point; two step-daughters, Renee? (Ron) Potts of Chino Hills, California and Bernice Mancinas of Banning, California; a son, Charles (Kendra) Lewis II of Center Point and a sister, Florence Cox of Truckee, California.
Also surviving are 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis.
Charles was born March 15, 1948, the son of Charles and Florence (Ford) Lewis in Loma Linda, California. He was united in marriage on May 8, 1987, in Redland, California to Virginia Distrola. For over 20 years he worked as a manager of Organizational Development including the last five years at Quaker Oats. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
