Charles Robert “Rob” “Charlie” Jones, 54, of Coggon, died Friday, October 25, 2013. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Lesa; his mother, Lorraine (step-father, E.J. “Al”) Remington; his daughter, Katie Jones; his step-son, Chris (Addy) Leistikow; sister, Fae (Lynn) Johnson; brother, Lonnie Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
Charles was born December 30, 1958, the son of Robert and Lorraine (Kirby) Jones in Monticello. He graduated from Marion High School. On August 24, 2007, he married Lesa Anderson at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids. Charles worked at Lucas Farms in Central City.
Charles enjoyed gardening and was a Harley enthusiast.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Charles.
