Charles "Chuck? R. Fraley, 57, of 347 Ginny Lane N.E., died Wednesday, October 29, 2003, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a five-year struggle with renal disease and complications following a liver transplant. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Urbana Christian Church, Urbana, by the Rev. Tom Felts. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003, Green Bay Cemetery, Humeston, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; two daughters, Candie Fraley of Urbana and Elizabeth Fraley of Cedar Rapids; a son, Phillip Fraley of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Danielle Coleman of Urbana; his mother, Doris Fraley of Urbana; two brothers, Roger (Lisa) Fraley of Urbana, David (Donna) Fraley of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Kathy (Tom) Booher of Urbana; and nieces and nephew, Haley Fraley, Melissa Fraley, Michelle Booher and Bobby Fraley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and a brother, Richard.

He was born August 1, 1946, in Pasadena, California, to Robert and Doris Benson Fraley. Chuck graduated from Urbana High School and attended NIACC in Mason City. On July 1, 1994, he married Connie Womack, at the Urbana Christian Church in Urbana. He retired from St. Luke?s Hospital. Chuck loved fishing, writing music, singing and playing his guitar, playing cards, beating his mother at Scrabble, and was a proud Democrat. He loved his family and they loved him and he will be greatly missed.
