Catherine Harrison Cherry (Capes)

Catherine H. Cherry, 73, of 1030 Memorial Drive S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, January 5, 2009, following a long illness. There will be no services.
Survivors include her children, Clarice (Maurice) Cantrell, Robyn Dickson and Joe Spivie all of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric Dickson; and granddaughter, Myriah Dukes.
Born October 27, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Catherine was the daughter of Lloyd and Beulah (Martin) Capes. A lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, Catherine retired as an accountant for Cargill after 27 years of employment.
