Carolyn J. Clark, 65, of 5505 6th Street S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, February 21, 2009, in her home following a short illness. Services: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Marie (Raymond) Mosbeck of Fairfax, Terrall Clark of Cedar Rapids and Teresa Porter of Jesup; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Josh and Allison; one great grandson, Branden; and two brothers, Jim Case and Vern Case.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and a granddaughter, Kiria.
Born November 5, 1943, in Boone, Iowa, Carolyn was the daughter of Lyle and Mary Case. On December 31, 1963, she married John Clark. He died June 1, 1981. Carolyn was a bus driver for the Cedar Rapids schools for 23 years, retiring in 2007.
