Carol Woodward, 68, of Central City, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at St. Luke’s, Hospital in Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends Wednesday, June 10, 2009, from 4- 7 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, where a memorial service will then be held at 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include a daughter, Lori Woodward (Dave Weston) of Anamosa; a son, Scott (Christina) Woodward of Vevay, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, Chad, Danielle, Kassandra, Damien and Dalton; 1 great-grandchild, Travis, and one on the way; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol was born July 3, 1940, the daughter of Erwin and Henrietta (Koester) Winter, in rural Fayette County, Iowa. She was employed at Rockwell Collins for many years and was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Central City.
