Carol E. Popp, 73, of 1505 McGowan Blvd., died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at her home, following a long illness. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church in Marion by Rev. John Albertson. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Milo Popp, Sr. of Marion; her daughter, Terrie Beth McCarthy of Marion; her son, Milo Allen Popp, Jr. and wife Karen of Swisher; her sister, Arlene Larson and husband Ray of Bismarck, North Dakota; three grandsons, Jamie Russman, Milo Popp III and wife Johanna, and Arthur Popp; a granddaughter, Caroline Popp; and a great-grandson, Milo Popp IV.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Henninger; and a sister, Helen White.
Carol was born June 12, 1934, the daughter of Amos and Agnes (Anderson) Henninger in Barnum, Minnesota. On January 17, 1953, she married Milo Allen Popp Sr. in Great Bend, North Dakota. She retired from SCI in 1993.
Carol was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Marion.
