Carol J. Mesch
February 2, 1957 — July 30, 2003
Carol J. Mesch, 46, of 1570 2nd Avenue S.E., formerly of Manchester, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. As per Carol?s wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are by Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her son, Jeremiah Mesch and his wife Denise of Coggon; a brother, Raymond Bryant of Manchester; two grandchildren, Dalton and Brendan Mesch; her boyfriend, Michael Dahl of Cedar Rapids; and many close friends, including Virginia Dahl, May Dahl, Cory Bender, Jamie Wsimano and Arthur Edelbrock, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol was born the daughter of Robert and Lorretta Bryant on February 2, 1957, in Cedar Rapids. She was married to Floyd Mesch and they were later divorced. Carol had worked as a cook for many years at local restaurants, most recently at the Texas Roadhouse in Cedar Rapids.
