Cain Lee Christensen

Cain Christensen, 35, of Cedar Rapids, died on Saturday June 2, 2012, at his home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday June 6, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday before services.
Survivors include his mother and father; his five daughters, Kaitlyn Hayek, of Souix City, Jennica Christensen, of Cedar Rapids, Marissa Christensen, of Fort Dodge, Kaia Cook, of Cedar Rapids, and Emalee Christensen, of Waterloo; one grandchild, Alyssa; sister, Kelley (Steve) Aldrich, of Cedar Rapids, and special friend, Melissa.
Cain was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Betty Christensen; maternal grandparents, Velma Jean Tudor and Cecil (Helen) McNelly; and his dog, Juice.
Cain was born September 10, 1976, son of Scott (Kim) Christensen and Vickie (Jay) Pierce in Iowa City, Iowa. He enjoyed playing his Xbox, camping, fishing, volunteered at Jane Boyd, loved animals and kids, cooking and was very personable. Cain’s greatest joy was being the best dad in the world. He aspired to be a piercing artist.
