C. Patricia Felker, 74, of Grand Island, Nebraska, formerly of Urbana, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Grand Island. Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Urbana Cemetery, Urbana, by Rev. Melanie Van Weelden. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, is serving the family.
Mrs. Felker was born Jan. 19, 1940, in Lewiston, Maine, to Alfred and Aldea (Saucier) Ayotte.
She was preceded in death by children, Richard Lee Adams, Jr., Michael G. Adams and Patricia A. Adams.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jon Felker; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Gene Whitehead of Grand Island, Nebraska; and stepdaughters, Luann Vredenburg of Vinton, Iowa, and Lynette Felker of Pella, Iowa.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Anthony and Brian Matero, Nicole Peal, Jeremy Freemon, Travis Pettit, Veria Pettit and Joshua Schwartz; 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Julien Ayotte; sister, Constance Ferren; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Valandra Peal.
Patricia was raised and received her education at Lewiston, Maine. She was united in marriage to Jon Ross Felker on June 9, 1973. Following their marriage they lived in Urbana, Iowa, before moving to Grand Island to be close to family. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilting, making some wonderful quilts and afghans. She also painted several nativity scene sets to give away. She was a member of Urbana Christian Church.
