Bruce Phillips, 52, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, October 3, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Bruce was born February 14, 1969, in Iowa City, the son of Connie (Jones) and Bruce Phillips, Sr. He graduated from Washington High School.
Survivors include his mother, Connie Phillips; sister, Carrie Phillips; nephew, Nate Phillips; niece, Kaylea Phillips; great-nephews, Jaxon and Mazin Phillips; great-nieces, Leonnah and Naoma Phillips; and best friends, John Davis, James Martin, Maribelle Thompson, and Melissa Cones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Sr.; nephew, Seth Phillips; and good friend, Ted “TNT” Bascom.
