Brian Louis Teymer, 56, of Walker, Iowa, passed away on May 27, 2017, at his home. Visitation: 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial: Alice Cemetery, Center Point, Iowa.
Brian was born March 13, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Louis and Annabelle (Henchal) Teymer. He graduated from Springville High School and was a manager at Hardee’s for fifteen years, a welder at Lattner for ten years and also worked at Aura Cacia for almost seven years. Brian married Jean Renee Siechert on May 15, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His quick wit and humor will be missed greatly. Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Jaxon. He spent the weekends cheering on the New Orleans Saints and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Brian always looked forward to putting on his 4th of July fireworks display for his friends and relatives to enjoy. He was known for his caring and positive attitude and would do anything for his loved ones.
Brian is survived by his wife, Jean (Siechert) Teymer of Walker; children, Bret (Jenny) Teymer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Trenton (Krista) Teymer of Vinton, Iowa, Brianna “Breezy” (A.J.) Seely of New Hampton, Iowa; mother, Annabelle Yanda of Center Point; mother-in-law, Sandra (Mark) Siechert of Alburnett, Iowa; brother-in-law, Andrew Siechert of Alburnett; siblings, Roger Howell of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Judy Veberg of Illinois, Tom (Karen) Howell of Springville, Iowa, Angela (Steve) Batcheler of Central City, Iowa; grandson, Jaxon Teymer of Sioux Falls; nieces and nephews, Logan, Cherry, Darcy, Heidi, Matthew, Amanda, Sara, C.J., and Colton; and his favorite Aunt Fran..
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Jacob Teymer and both sets of grandparents.
