Brian J. Foreman, 37, of Coralville, Iowa, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, in University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Memorial Services: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor David Bissell and Pastor David Van Netten. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the funeral home. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Elijah David, Noah James and Isaiah John, all at home; father, Ken (Holly) Foreman of Waterloo; mother, Pat Foreman of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Cindy (Bruce) Flynn of New York, New York and Shelly Moyer of Cedar Rapids; three nieces, Jessica, Jami and Amanda; and special friend, Ashleigh Newcomb of Coralville.
Brian was born December 9, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Kenneth Foreman and Paulette “Pat” Tupy. He graduated from West High School in Waterloo in 1989. On December 16, 1995, he was united in marriage to Tamara Dallege in Tipton, Iowa. Brian owned an American Family Insurance Agency in Tipton for 1½ years, Kingdom Graphics in West Branch from 1997-2003 and most recently was a sales counselor for Geico Insurance. He was very involved in community activities through Geico.
Brian loved being a Dad and dedicated his life to raising his sons. He touched many lives and brought joy to a lot of people. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. Brian had a great passion for life that will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in memory of Brian has been established for his sons’ college education.
