Brenda Kay (Jackson) Carmody, 79, of Ely, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, surrounded by family. A Memorial Service may be held at a future time. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation service assisted the family.
Brenda was dedicated to her family throughout her life and will be deeply missed.
Brenda is survived by her husband, David Carmody of Ely, Iowa; daughter, Teresa and husband Brian Critz, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandson, Michael Critz, of Morris, Oklahoma. Additional family members, all from Cedar Rapids, Iowa include her stepson, Craig and his wife Brenda Renee Carmody; stepdaughter, Suellen and her husband, Jeff Munzer; and grandchildren, Olivia and Carson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James and Jannie Jackson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to animal charities or underprivileged schools.
