Bonnie J. Marchant, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Friday, July 7, 2023. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Bonnie was born October 6, 1931, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Clifford and Anna (Ostlund) Taylor. She was united in marriage to William H. Marchant Sr. on March 3, 1951, in Omaha. Bonnie worked as a cashier for Me Too/SunMart stores. She loved puzzles, word games, and activities at the Lisbon Rehab Center.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Joanna Flynn; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Flynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Anna Taylor; husband, William H. Marchant Sr.; and sons, William H. “Tex” Marchant Jr. and Randy L. Marchant.
