Beulah M. Boynton, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Unity Point Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Beulah retired after 25 years with the Cedar Rapids School District as a cook at Roosevelt Junior High School.
Survivors include her three children, Marlys Powlishta, Florenda Burns, and Ray (Julie) Boynton; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Blanche Morona of Horseshoe Bend, AR; and brother, Dean Bellmer of Spring Valley, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; and two son-in-laws, Ken Powlishta, and Jack Burns.
