Betty Lou Wilkinson (Paul)
February 3, 1931 — December 7, 2006
Betty L. Wilkinson, 75, of 1390 8th St., died Thursday, December 6, 2006, at home, following a sudden illness. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Wilfred of Marion; a son, Steven Wilkinson of Eyota, Minnesota; a daughter, Christine Fox of Independence; two sisters, Lois Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska and Blanch Lovell of Vinton; a brother, Harold Paul of Jacksonville, Florida; and two grandchildren, James and Crystal King.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty was born February 3, 1931, the daughter of Henry and Frances (Jensen) Paul in Norway, Iowa. She married Wilfred Wilkinson July 17, 1953, in Marion. She had previously worked at Penick & Ford.
A memorial fund has been established in Betty?s memory.
