Betty L. Jones, 85, of 1307 30th Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. No services will be held. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Leeann Hildenbrand and Michael Jones; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Miller and Harold Miller; and sisters, Janet Long, Twila Miller, Ida Mae Leib and Ruth Clubb.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Marcus Jones; five brothers; and one sister.
Born February 5, 1926, in Kinross, Iowa, Betty was the daughter of Emery and Gladys (Carter) Miller. She was united in marriage to Raymond Jones. He died in 1986. Betty worked as a cosmetologist.
