Kramer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Walker, Iowa. He died July 26, 2002. A person of enormous talent as a seamstress, Bernie crafted numerous wedding gowns, bridesmaid gowns, prom dresses and other articles for many townspeople and family. She never knew a gown she couldn?t sew. Also a talented artist, Bernie?s greatest God given talent was her ability to take any child in her arms and calm the loudest cry and ease the strongest hurt. Her eyes would light up given the opportunity to hold, love and give comfort to any child. This will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bernie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.

A special thanks to the staff at West Village Care Center, Independence, Mercy Medical Center staff and hospice, Cedar Rapids, Dr. Chirantan Ghosh and Dr. John Lancaster.
