Belinda Kay Mason, 50, of 1490 Daleview Drive, Marion, died August 14, 2005, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, of a sudden illness. Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, by the Rev. Tom McDermott. The family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Karen (Patrick) McBride of Prescott, Arizona and Barbara Gamble of Pulsbo, Washington; four brothers, Jonathan (Joanne) Mason of Walford, Iowa, Kevin (Erlinda) Mason of Cedar Rapids, Mike (Sun) Mason of Chicago, Illinois and Marvin (Ziggy) Ellard of Jacksonville, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Duane.
Belinda was born January 14, 1955, in North English, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Clauda (Henley) Mason. She was employed by RDS for 14 years.
Instead of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Belinda?s memory for REM of Iowa.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Walford Community Center following the funeral service.
