Beatrice “GoGo” Kramer, 99, was born July 22, 1913, and went peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord and all those friends and family members who preceded her, after a short illness on Tuesday. Jan. 29, 2013. A Homegoing service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Bethel AME Church in Cedar Rapids, by Pastor W.C. Perkins.
Surviving are her daughter, JoAnn Howard; grandchildren, Wendi (James) Cooks, Kim Howard and Suzette Gadegbeku of Cedar Rapids; great-grandchildren, Eric Howard, Erica Howard and Brie Gadegbeku of Cedar Rapids and Stefan Gadegbeku of Virginia; and great-great-grandchildren, Kaine Cooks and Jordan Holmes of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maude Tucker.
Beatrice was a lifelong member of Bethel AME Church and was active in many auxiliary groups. She was known by all who knew and loved her to be greeted with “God loves you and so do I.”
She will be truly missed by us all.
