Audrey M. Niehaus, 64, of Winthrop, Iowa passed away from complications of cancer at Regional Medical Center, Manchester, Sunday, January 20, 2019. Visitation: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019, Bohnenkamp – Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m.
Audrey was born February 13, 1954, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, the daughter of Collins Waldo and Ala Mae (Driggers) Mizzell. She attended Berkley High School. On July 4, 1987, Audrey married Robert Niehaus in Lincolnville, South Carolina. Audrey worked in food and customer service, most recently with Walmart in Manchester. Audrey enjoyed being around people and loved to visit. She also enjoyed playing computer games. Audrey loved her family, especially her grandchildren and the time spent with them.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Niehaus of Winthrop, children, Sherry Mueller (Jeff Boeckenstedt) of Manchester, Misti (Henry) Fassbinder of Guttenberg, Melissa (Jeff) Lindsay of Manchester, Dusty (Melissa) Mizzell of Dyersville, and Robert (Crystal) Niehaus of North Buena Vista; grandchildren, Justin, Cameron, Ashley, Brian, Josh, Shaun, Nicole, Hunter, Jace, Kara, Emma, Axel, Seth, Jordan, Chace, Vincent, and Vanessa; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Addison, Amelia, Braelyn, Jaxson, and Madilynn. She is also survived by her siblings, Jr (Pat) Mizzell, of Summerville, SC, Johnny (Betty) Mizzell of Moncks Corner, SC, Tommy (Faye) Mizzell of Summerville, SC, Corbett (Robin) Mizzell of Moncks Corner, SC, Wanda (Mike) Dellacroce of Summerville, SC; and sister-in-law, Jean Driggers of North Charleston, SC.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Terri Petit; and a brother, James Driggers.
