Audrey D. Wall, 77, of Delhi, Iowa, was called by our Lord, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at her home in Delhi, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church in Delhi, Iowa. Rev. Kathleen Moore will be officiating the service. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2014, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester, Iowa. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Delhi.
Audrey was born July 4, 1936, in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Maynard and Hazel (Durey) Schnittjer. On May 5, 1955, Audrey was united in marriage to George Wall at the Delhi United Methodist Church.
Audrey was a member of the Delhi United Methodist Church and Hannah Circle. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing for crappies, gardening and had a passion for flowers. She was a caring, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and above all, a loving spouse who was devoted to her family. Audrey always had a smile on her face and was positive in all areas of life.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 58 years , George, of Delhi; children, Dennis (Sue) Wall, Steve (Jean) Wall, Connie (Henry) Bulanda, Pam (Doug) Feltes and Scott (Brenda) Wall; grandchildren, Tarra Jo (Andy) Powell, April Wall, Dennis (Hannah) Wall, Emily Wall, Matthew (Shana) Wall, Kimberly (Aaron) Saeugling, Stefanie (Benjamin) Gates, Bradly Bulanda, Laura Bulanda, Taylor Feltes, Allison Feltes, Jamie Feltes, Jacob Wall, Trey Wall and her loving companion Peanut; and seven great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Dorothy) Schnittjer, Sue (Jon) Volz; a sister-in-law, Judy Schnittjer; and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Hazel Schnittjer; a brother, David Schnittjer and a sister-in-law, Carlene Schnittjer.
