Artelle L. Voelker, 97, of Laurie, Missouri, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Laurie Care Center. Services: 11 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Murdoch Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday morning. Burial: 1:30 pm, at Stanwood Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Wilcox of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Dawn Uelze of Lawrenceville, Georgia; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin, son-in-law, Lanny Wilcox, and a brother, Berdell.
Artelle was born October 30, 1918 in Mechanicsville, Iowa to Willard and Edith (Wilson) Maley. On May 24, 1941 Artelle married Melvin Voelker. She graduated from Morley High School and Cedar Rapids Business College.
