Arlene F. Schultz, 92, formerly of Livermore, Iowa, passed away, Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Hiawatha Care Center, Hiawatha, Iowa. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Faith United Methodist Church, Livermore, Iowa, where the family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Rev. Walden Paige will officiate. Burial: Union Cemetery, Livermore.
Survivors include her three sons, Ron (Alice) of Linn Creek, Missouri, Gary (Jean) of Cedar Rapids and Denny (Betty) of Camdenton, Missouri; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four nephews; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Inez Swenson; husband, Dick; brother, Bill; and sister, Mildred.
Arlene was born February 20, 1920, the daughter of Ernest and Inez (Danbom) Swenson, in Livermore, Iowa. She graduated from Livermore High School and married Dick Schultz on September 4, 1937, in Mason City, Iowa. They resided in Livermore, where they raised three sons.
Arlene was an active member of the Livermore Methodist Church, the WSCS, and the church choir. She belonged to Eastern Star and was a member of the Humboldt chapter of Sweet Adelines. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all of her family.
