Anne A. Bright, 92, of Living Center West, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died there Wednesday, January 11, 2006, following a long illness. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2006, at Immaculate Conception Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. David Ambrosy. The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Burial: St. John?s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (James) Hoge of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Aaron (Denise) Hoge of Plainfield, Illinois, Adam (Stephanie) Hoge of Cedar Rapids, Sally (Charles) Bunn of Muscatine, David Bright of Tallahassee, Florida, Jeff Bright of Muscatine, Robin (Steve) Heitman of Marengo, and Paul (Suzanne) Bright of Cedar Rapids; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Byrnes of Cedar Rapids; a sister-in-law, Catherine Pave; and a cousin, Elizabeth Priban of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wencil and Mary; her husband, William; two brothers, Wence and Frank; and two sisters, Mary and Sister Geraldine.
Anne was born May 3, 1913, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Wencil and Mary (Plotz) Pavek. On December 6, 1950, she was united in marriage to William Bright. He died in 1964. She was employed in housekeeping at St. Luke?s Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1985.
