Anna Marie Wharton, 35, of Aurora, Colorado, died in Aurora on December 10, 2007 following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Chapel in Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Anna was born May 21, 1972 the daughter of Donald and Mary Jo Wharton.
Anna is survived by her father, Donald (Marilyn) Wharton of Central City; her mother, Mary Jo Wharton of Colorado; a brother, Jeremy Wharton; a sister, Jennifer Wharton; a step-brother, Troy Cooper; her grandmother, Dorothy Wharton; and a special friend, Derrick Cropp.
Anna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Greg & Marie Lutkenhaus and Lewis Wharton; and an infant sister, Tina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Colorado Braille and Sight Saving School.
