Anna Lou Slabaugh (Spindell)

Anna Lou Slabaugh, 81, formerly of Akron, Ohio, and recently a resident of Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2010, with her family by her side. The family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, Iowa. Services will be 11:30, Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Billows Funeral Home in Fairlawn, Ohio. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
Survivors include her children, David (Sue) Slabaugh, Becky (Ivan) Hoath, Mirian (Lloyd) LeCurex, Judith Slabaugh, and John (Edith) Slabaugh; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John.
Anna Lou was born August 15, 1929, the daughter of Hiram and Grace (Simpson) Spindell, in Akron, Ohio. She married John Slabaugh on October 2, 1950. He died November 28, 2010. Anna Lou was a member of the Marion Gospel Hall.
