Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, by Rev. Dr. Ciprian Sas. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where a trisagion service will be held at 6 p.m. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Born June 30, 1925, in Castonia, Samos Greece, Anna was the daughter of Fotios and Catherine (Papas) Karagiannis. On February 10, 1968, she was united in marriage to Uka Shabani. He died April 20, 1996.
