Anna E. Grimm, 97, of Manchester died February 4, 2011 at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Good Neighbor Home Chapel in Manchester by Rev. Mary Green. Private family burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Shell Rock, Iowa. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Manchester are in charge of the arrangements.
Anna was born June 5, 1913 in Sumner, Iowa, the daughter of Henry Herbert and Anna M. (Pries) Aders. Anna was united in marriage to Clarence Winning, June 1932, until Clarence’s death in 1947. She later married Louis Grimm, May 1954.
Anna is a member of the First Lutheran Church in Manchester, Iowa.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Kay Hovey, Manchester; and one son, Rod Winning, Fresno, California; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna Aders, her husbands, Clarence Winning in 1947 and Louis Grimm in 1981; her sisters, Elsie Foust, Mary Rees, and Helen Schoenbeck.
Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
