Ann P. Murphy, 85, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Burial: Rogers Grove, near Ely, Iowa. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her siblings, Francis (Sherri) Murphy of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Rosella Netolicky of Ely, Iowa, Mary Lou Murphy-Wood of Springfield, Missouri, and Ambrose (Georgia) Murphy of Center Point, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Richard Netolicky; and niece, Lisa Murphy.
Ann was born on March 3, 1930, in Lansing, Iowa, daughter of Frank and Marie (Rachor) Murphy. She worked at Turner Microphone for 25 years and later at Universal Gym for 11 years. She retired in 1995, then worked at the gift shop at the Eastern Iowa Airport.
Ann was a member of St. Ludmila Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a care giver and volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital. Ann enjoyed collecting cardinal figurines.
