Anita F. (Renfer) Crutchley, 74, a resident of Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 2, 2004, after a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Al Christopherson. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Blodgett Cemetery, rural Central City.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Marion; her children, Ken (Karen) Crutchley of Troy Mills, Merna Moore and her friend, Joe O?Connor of Marion and Chuck (Karen) Crutchley of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Irwin (Doris) Renfer of Marion; a sister, Donna (Howard) Moyer of Alburnett; a sister-in-law, Maxine Renfer of Central City; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clair and Ernest Renfer; and a son-in-law, Tom Moore.

Anita was born March 11, 1930, the daughter of Clifford and Mildred (Shaffer) Renfer in Paris, Iowa. On March 4, 1947, she was married there to Harold E. Crutchley. Harold and Anita were farmers in the Alburnett and Marion areas their entire lives. She was a member of Gospel Hall in Marion.
