Andrew Seiler, 18, of Hiawatha, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Family and friends will gather from 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1:30 p.m., at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Andrew was born February 5, 1999, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Rich and Theresa (Pottebaum) Seiler. He graduated from Kennedy High School in May. Andrew worked at Wehrenberg Theater in Cedar Rapids and he enjoyed playing video and role playing games.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Rich and Theresa; brother, Ben Seiler; grandmother, Patricia Seiler; various aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Andrew recently returned from a school trip to Japan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be used to fund a scholarship for another student to have the same experience.
