Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Cornerstone Community Church, in Manchester, with Kenny Hahn officiating. Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.

Andy was born on November 15, 1983, in Manchester, the son of Daniel and Julie (Miles) Reth. He graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 2002.

On April 5th, 2008, Andy married Lisa Hoefer of Edgewood. Andy and Lisa are the proud parents of two daughters, Lacy and Tracy, both still at home.

Andy was well known among the farming community as he worked with his brother-in-law at Midwest Pumping II. Many farmers had his number when help was needed and he was always willing to lend a hand. He loved joking around with his family, particularly with his daughters and many nephews and nieces. You didn’t have to be around Andy long to know he was a person of strong opinions, especially when it came to his beloved John Deere tractors and Ford trucks.

Andy is survived by his wife, Lisa; his daughters, Lacy and Tracy; his parents, Danny and Julie of Delhi; two sisters, Hannah (Jon Munford) of West Burlington and Katie of Delhi; grandparents, Norman and Kay Miles of Hopkinton; mother-in-law, Elaine Hoefer of Manchester; father-in-law, Larry (Sherry) Hoefer of Strawberry Point; grandma-in-law, Verna Hoefer of Manchester; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Rhonda) Hoefer of Manchester, and Jason (Lisa) Hoefer of Edgewood; sister-in-law, Kristi (Ian) Moeller of Strawberry Point; many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends; and furry family members, Gomer and Milton.

Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Alberta Reth; grandparents-in-law, Bernard and Ardella Schlichte, and Gerald Hoefer.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made toward college funds for his daughters, Lacy and Tracy, at Community Savings Bank.

The family requests that you wear an agricultural related shirt or cap to the visitation in honor of Andy’s love of farming.
